Education and formation

Each country of the European Union is responsible for its own education system and, therefore, the Commission plays a supporting role. It offers a forum of cooperation between countries and wants to achieve greater coherence of educational policies. The Commission finances various initiatives to support education in Europe, from the recognition of qualifications in other countries to the promotion of positive experiences.
